Baker's Rendezvous Caye is the southern portion of a couple of islands in a chain. This island was filled about four years ago and the vegetation is now experiencing some extensive regrowth. The island has beautiful, long water frontage on both the eastern and western sides with some amazing reef structures along the eastern side of the island. The approach to Baker's Rendezvous is from the west and is somewhat shallow, with channels deep enough to bring a 3 foot draft boat right to shore. The water gets deeper once you're about 60 feet offshore. At 120 feet away, the water is deep enough for sailboats. The water on the western side is well protected and would be a perfect location for a dock. The small areas between the two major islands is very shallow and nearly impassable at low tide. This island has terrific potential and has the benefit of already being filled. We recently hired a group of men to trim back the island so its easier to walk around. Baker's is perfect for those who want to buy an island and be able to start building immediately. Baker's Rendezvous is located 11.5 miles NE of Placencia and 11.5 miles SE of Riversdale.
